About

From award winning commercials & industrials to documentaries & feature films, I strive to always explore & contribute to the art of story telling through motion pictures.
My story is not unlike many artists in this field, as I discovered a love of filmmaking at an early age. Spending all of my free time in the forest & fields surrounding my childhood home in North Carolina, making short films based on stories such as Richard Connell’s “The Most Dangerous Game” and W. W. Jacobs’ “The Monkey’s Paw”, I never realized then, how influential those early years would become.
In 2001, I co-founded Eljapa Media Group, Inc., a production company that focused primarily on various media campaigns for Tourism and Economic Development of government and private organizations. Still continuing to pursue more creatively challenging projects in my “spare” time as a freelancer, I decided in 2005 to sell off my share of the company and go at it as a “independent” once again.
Since that point, he has yet to look back. He just recently wrapped production as Director of Photography on the feature films, “For the Glory” that lensed in Washington, DC, and the film “Hero” that is set in the world of baseball. The film “Red Dirt Rising” (that he served as Producer, Co-Director, DP and editor) is currently traveling the country in a limited theatrical release and will be on DVD in the Fall of 2010. Currently he is in developing the feature film “Seven Days in Nashville” that follows the story of a struggling single father musician as he makes his last attempt at fulfilling his destiny.
In closing, the one thing that I personally enjoy the most about this business is the relationships and challenges of working so closely in such a collaborative process. Please, feel free to give me a call or email if you have any questions that I could assistance with.
