Three Cultures of Appalachia – Oral History Documentary

This is a project that I produced back in 2002 in partnership with Tammy Hopkins of THop Productions.
It’s an oral history documentary of three appalachian women in their 80’s sharing their stories of growing up in the rural regions of the Appalachian mountains. The film takes a glimpse into their lives as they share their memories of growing up not only as mountain women, but also as Cherokee, Scots-Irish and African-American women.
